Accessibility statement
Last updated: October 6, 2026
This English version is provided for convenience. If it differs from the Hebrew version, the Hebrew version governs.
It is important to us that everyone can use Ariach. We are working to make the site conform to Israeli Standard 5568 at level AA, and we describe here, honestly, what is already accessible and what is not yet.
What has been done
- The site is in Hebrew, right to left, and in English, left to right, with headings and a structure that screen readers recognize.
- The site's pages (the home page, sign-in, the books page and these documents) can be operated entirely from the keyboard, with a clear indication of where you are.
- Form fields have labels. An error is stated in words next to the field it concerns, and is not indicated by color alone.
- The contrast of text and of field outlines has been checked against level AA, and there is a dark mode and a light mode.
- The animated demonstrations on the home page can be stopped with the button beside them, and stop by themselves when they are off the screen.
- Animations stop for anyone who has asked their device to reduce motion.
- Buttons shown as an icon alone have a name that a screen reader reads aloud.
What is not yet accessible
The studio is a complex visual work tool, and not everything in it is accessible yet:
- The studio requires a wide screen on a computer. On a narrow screen (a phone) it does not open: an explanation is shown, with a way to send the link to a computer. The home page, sign-in, the books page and these documents also open on a phone.
- The typeset pages are drawn as an image, which a screen reader does not read. The text itself is fully available in the text editor beside them.
- In the studio, the browser's zoom shortcuts enlarge the pages, not the interface, and some of the labels in the panels are small.
- The PDF files produced are intended for print and are not tagged for screen readers. The same book can also be exported to Word, HTML or EPUB.
Having difficulty?
If something on the site is not accessible to you, or you need the information or the service in another way, write to us at support@ariach.com. Tell us the page and the difficulty, and we will get back to you within seven business days with a solution or an alternative.
